Here's how you can Retrieve a Standard Database Backup in cPanel.

    Login to cPanel

In the Files section, there is a Backup Option.

Here is an option for "Download a MySQL Database Backup." Select the file you want to download.

On your local system, Go to the folder where the web browser downloaded data is stored, and there you will see the compressed .sql.qz files.

Now your database is safely stored in your Local System.

    I hope this helps.
